By creating an account or using mrmr ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
mrmr is a text-only, ephemeral chat service. Thoughts disappear after 24 hours. There are no profiles, no images, no algorithms. You pick a username, post thoughts, and talk to people.
You must be at least 13 years old to use mrmr. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for your account credentials. Do not share your password or secret word. We cannot recover accounts if you lose both.

We reserve the right to remove content, ban accounts, or take other moderation action at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
Thoughts are ephemeral and automatically deleted after 24 hours. Direct messages are retained until removed by an admin or through a data removal request. You retain ownership of what you write, but grant us a license to store, display, and transmit it as part of operating the Service.
mrmr is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or that the Service will meet your expectations. We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, mrmr and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Self-service account deletion is not currently available. If you want your account or data removed, contact us through the Service. We will process removal requests within a reasonable timeframe. Some data (such as IP and session logs) may be retained for a limited period after removal for abuse prevention.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
